Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems that may span the entire product lifecycle or focus on particular stages. This role requires applying a broad understanding of various technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to effectively support clients, projects, or organizational entities. The workday often includes collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet requirements and contribute to the overall success of the product or project. Continuous engagement with evolving software environments and adapting to new challenges are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables.
- Support the integration of new technologies and tools to optimize software development workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva CRM.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Configuration Management (CM).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues efficiently.
- Experience working with software configuration and deployment tools.
- Familiarity with client-focused software customization and configuration.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Veeva CRM.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
