Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure that solutions are scalable and meet evolving business requirements. Utilizing modern development frameworks and agile methodologies, the engineer actively participates in refining and enhancing software to deliver high performance and reliability. The position demands adaptability to changing project needs and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a dynamic work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within project workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM, Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR.
- Strong experience in software development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Familiarity with modern software development frameworks and agile methodologies.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code tailored to business needs.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues across integrated systems.
- Good understanding of system architecture and integration patterns relevant to enterprise applications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
