Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for project-related communications, ensuring seamless coordination among stakeholders. The position demands a proactive approach to managing project tasks, overseeing the integration of various components, and maintaining alignment with overall project goals. The engineer dedicates time to problem-solving, refining application features, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards while collaborating closely with team members to drive project success.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software solutions.
- Assist in documenting technical specifications and application workflows to support development and maintenance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on project tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark, Python (Programming Language).
- Experience in developing scalable data processing pipelines using PySpark.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts and big data frameworks.
- Ability to optimize PySpark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
- Familiarity with data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation techniques within PySpark.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and integrating PySpark applications with various data sources.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PySpark.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
