Job Summary
As a Reconciliation Associate within the Investment Middle Office team, you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of reconciliation outputs. You will act as a domain expert, guiding the team through complex queries and challenges. Your leadership will be pivotal in managing escalations and enhancing our service delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee reconciliation of data with external/internal parties
- Supervise timely delivery of reconciliation outputs
- Act as a domain expert for the team
- Ensure timely escalation of issues to management
- Develop efficient workflows with effective controls
- Establish compliance policies and guidelines
- Assess and address training needs for the team
- Manage stakeholder relationships effectively
- Own process documentation and updates
- Lead audits and client due diligence efforts
- Continuously strengthen the control environment
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of reconciliation processes
- Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills
- Understand capital markets and related terminologies
- Apply strong analytical and MS Office skills
- Think creatively and challenge the status quo
- Manage time effectively with conflicting priorities
- Lead teams and develop succession plans
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Hold an MBA or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Minimum12 years of experience in finance or banking operations
- Have 3 years of experience handling reconciliation teams
- Demonstrate experience in process automation and efficiency projects
- Show ability to manage complex projects and initiatives
- Exhibit strong leadership and team management skills
- Maintain a proactive approach to client requirements
