Job Description
What is needed
-------------
•5-9 years of experience on embedded systems, with focus on Android Framework and Native development
• Strong Java programming skills with added knowledge of working in C++ and kotlin.
• Understanding of Android Boot Sequence and various Framework module architecture.
• Proficient in Android System concepts.
• Should have experience on Android development and debugging robust systems
• Proficient in multi threaded programming and middleware solution development on Android environment.
Strong in fundamentals of IPC, AIDL and OS concepts.
• Good experience in Android internals
• System level debugging
• Preferred to have worked in navigation domain.
What you will do
----------------
• Android native Framework and Native development and customizations, In-vehicle/automotive Infotainment Platforms
• Must have worked on Android framework customization extensively
• Experience on Android HIDL interfaces implementation and customizations
• Android CTS and VTS issue debugging and issue fixing
• Interface with various domains within android product to achieve Stability metrics.
• Navigation
•• Integrate and customize navigation SDKs and engines from providers such as TomTom, Mapbox, HERE or similar map and routing platforms.
•• Work on navigation features, such as route guidance, navigation on cluster, location handling, and system integration.
•• Collaborate with navigation vendors and internal teams to improve stability, performance, and feature completeness.
•• Debug and optimize navigation behavior across different driving scenarios and system states.
