The Opportunity:
PureSpectrum is seeking a Data Analyst to join our data operations and analytics team. In this role, you will work with Data Warehouse and Marketplace data stored in MongoDB, developing insights and automations that support business decisions across teams.
You will be responsible for creating dashboards in Superset, building Python automations for data querying, transformation, and report generation, and responding to ad-hoc data and reporting requests from internal stakeholders.
This position requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data querying and visualization, and the ability to automate routine processes for improved efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets, and eager to contribute to the ongoing development of PureSpectrum’s data-driven culture.
Location and work Schedule:
This position is based out of our Hyderabad Office, India, requiring in-office presence of 3 days a week. This role requires flexibility to work across global time zones to effectively collaborate with our international team members.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Marketplace data stored in MongoDB to support business reporting and analytics needs.
- Write and optimize Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and automation of recurring data processes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Superset to visualize KPIs, operational metrics, and business trends.
- Build and manage data pipelines for efficient data querying and transformation from multiple data sources.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to fulfill data and reporting requests.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across dashboards and automated reports.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data processes, improve automation, and enhance performance of data workflows.
- Maintain proper documentation of data sources, scripts, and automation workflows.
- Assist in defining and maintaining best practices for data access, governance, and security.
- Stay current with industry trends in data automation, Python scripting, and business intelligence tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, processing, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ETL concepts, Python, SQL, and MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of any dashboard or BI tool such as Superset, Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Familiarity with API calls and data integrations.
- Basic understanding of Linux commands, JavaScript, CSS, and automation scripting.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including use of advanced formulas or macros.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Ability to write effective AI prompts for automation or data workflows.
- Market research domain experience is required. Knowledge of SPSS, Quantum, or Decipher tools is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in night shifts or flexible schedules as required by global project timelines.
