Job Description
As a Reporting & Analysis Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, MicroStrategy and other reporting tools.
- Create executive-level presentations in PowerPoint to communicate trends, insights, and recommendations effectively.
- Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Partner with data owners and governance teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with business rules.
- Collaborate with other team members to build fluid, efficient data and reporting processes
- Continuously improve reporting processes and visualization standards to enhance clarity and impact.
- Build strong relationships with business and IT partners to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Build good rapport with stakeholders
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in business, Analytics, or related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in reporting and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Microstrategy, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, charts).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear, concise manner, build and maintain relationships with other teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Due to the nature of this position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA
The Ideal Qualifications
- Familiarity with SQL for basic data querying.
- Expert experience with PowerPoint, PowerBI & or Microstrategy
- Experience with Alteryx for data analysis and automation.
- Experience in insurance or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices in reporting and analysis.
