Job Responsibilities:
Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of SAP EDI interfaces, particularly in the area of supplier integration.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure smooth data exchange via EDI
• Implement and manage EDI solutions to optimize communication with our suppliers
• Analyze and integrate supplier EDI requirements into existing systems
• Monitor and ensure data quality and security in the EDI process
• Troubleshoot and support technical issues in the EDI area
• Provide global support to suppliers and internal teams to ensure consistent and effective use of EDI systems worldwide
• Support MES integration with ERP systems (including SAP EDI, EWM, MM)
• Act as a contact person for cross-module integration topics
• Support the implementation of audit-compliant authorization roles, including adjacent areas
• Evaluate new technologies and trends to improve company efficiency and performance
• Create functional and technical specifications for complex IT systems and applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including service providers) to drive requirements
• Identify business needs and introduce innovative solutions using agile techniques
• Actively drive optimization of the IT landscape in coordination with architects and technology owners
• Create and track business cases with a solid foundation
• Actively introduce new solutions into the company as best practices

Work experience:
Several years of experience in EDI, ideally in the automotive industry
Educational qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Skills & competencies:

• Solid knowledge of EDI standards and protocols (e.g., EDIFACT)
• Experience with EDI software and tools (e.g., Seeburger, SAP)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to provide global support and occasional international travel
• Completed technical studies with a focus on IT or comparable training
• Customizing and/or development experience in SAP EDI and cross-module knowledge of SAP modules EWM and MM
• Good understanding of IT systems and landscapes and their dependencies, especially in onboarding new systems and IT project management
• Several years of professional experience in IT and a reliable, structured, and independent working style
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
• Strong communication skills, initiative, and team orientation, as well as willingness to travel
