As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet established standards. The position demands active involvement in aligning software solutions with organizational goals, fostering collaboration among team members, and maintaining a focus on delivering scalable and high-performing applications. The lead also dedicates time to reviewing progress, addressing challenges, and steering the team towards successful project completion.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and team efficiency.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing test strategies for complex software systems.
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test plans and cases.
- Familiarity with tools and techniques for test automation and defect tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering reliable and maintainable software.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Functional Test Planning.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
