The Opportunity

This position works out of our location in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH) in the Abbott Diabetes Care division that is focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Planning and leading e-commerce projects and ensuring they are delivered in time, scope, and budget.
  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to identify projects that support strategic goals.
  • Defining, mapping, and implementing requirements of technical reimbursement processes within the direct-to patient (DtP) approach.
  • Monitoring and measuring project processes and activities to identify and communicate potential issues, risks or problems in a timely fashion and provide corrective action options and drive to resolution.
  • Building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams internally and externally to create and establish a consistent customer journey and experience.
  • Acting as main point of contact and coordinator for Webshop communication for internal and external teams.
  • Supporting IT and stakeholders throughout the complete project from requirement gathering and planning until Business validation after deployment.
  • Ensure integration of all requirements meet legal, data privacy and Abbott regulations.
  • Responsible for maximizing revenue and margin on site.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Adequate university degree in economics, business administration or business information technology.
  • At least 4 years of work experience in e-commerce and project management with experience in building up and use of IT solutions.
  • Understanding of German healthcare reimbursement system.
  • Proven project and process management skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Action and solution-oriented Team-player who takes on accountability.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop sustainable relationships and to effectively communicate with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Self-Starter with customer focused service-oriented mind-set and hands on mentality
  • Fluency in German and English is a must.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience or exposure to IT industry (E-commerce, Salesforce etc.) and working with international teams.
  • Experience in analytics (e.g., Adobe Analytics)
  • Experience in regulatory tools (e.g., Veeva)
  • Experience in ticketing tools (e.g., Jira)
  • In depth knowledge of the German healthcare reimbursement system
  • Hands on experience and understanding of diabetes and blood glucose measuring business.
  • Experience in building products.
  • Certified Project Management Trainings (e.g., Scrum, PMP, Six Sigma)
