Job Summary
As a Cash Operations Team Leader within our financial operations department, you will take on direct responsibility for daily operational activities, which include processing cheques and Swift transactions, as well as client authentication.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process Swift/ISO payments, including local and FX transactions, as well as serial and cover payments.
- Handle cheque clearing for inward, outward, and collection products.
- Support payment activities such as manual instruction validation, Nostro reconciliation, EOD reconciliation, and fund control checks.
- Monitor process mailboxes, manage queries and escalations, and clear processing queues while maintaining production accuracy.
- Perform regular quality checks, adhere to regulatory and process requirements, and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks, meet TAT for processes, and follow exception procedures for deviations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, maintain MIS/productivity trackers, escalate issues promptly, and assist PVT during weekends as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Knowledge of SWIFT / ISO & Cheque product.
- Knowledge in Nostro recon and monitoring
- Work experience of at least 6 years in a similar role/function.
- Graduate and above.
- Flexibility in working hours / days.
- Should be familiar with AI tools.
- Excellent Communication Skills
