Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery of GenAI/Agentic AI products while staying hands on build AI agents using Python, LangChain/LangGraph, and protocols like ReACT/ReWOO, RAG, A2A
• Own technical direction for prompt engineering, evaluation strategies, and reliability guardrails; contribute code, reviews, and design docs
• Design and implement cloud native solutions on Azure (Function Apps, Cosmos DB, AKS) with production grade observability, resilience, and security
• Drive performance and scalability of multi turn conversational agents, profile, benchmark, and optimise critical paths
• Establish engineering excellence, pytest coverage targets, coding standards, and CI quality gates, unblock the team via pairing and architecture guidance
• Operate modern delivery, Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines for build, test, security scans, and progressive deployments
• Collaborate with product/back end/platform teams to integrate APIs and microservices; ensure contracts, SLAs, and telemetry are in place
• Implement monitoring and troubleshooting for AI agent behaviour (latency, hallucination rate, safety violations), set SLOs and runbooks
• Document designs, decision records, test strategies, and operational playbooks, maintain best practices in a shared engineering knowledge base
• Plan and sequence work with the team (roadmap, sprint goals, release readiness); mentor engineers, facilitate architecture discussions, and elevate code quality
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including production systems for AI/ML or high scale services
• Solid, hands on proficiency in Python and AI agent frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph, ReACT/ReWOO, RAG)
• Deep experience with Azure services (Function Apps, Cosmos DB, AKS) and cloud native architecture patterns
• Expertise in prompt engineering, evaluation metrics, and reliability/safety guardrails for LLM driven systems
• Proficiency with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with security/compliance gates
• Proven solid testing discipline (pytest) and quality engineering practices (coverage, flake, static analysis)
• Proven optimization skills (performance profiling, memory/CPU tuning, cost aware design)
• Proven excellent collaboration and communication across cross functional teams; able to lead technical decisions and mentor engineers
• Proven ability to balance hands on development with team leadership - setting standards, unblocking complex problems, and delivering outcomes
