Description and Requirements
The Data Conversion & GL Reconciliation role helps with financial system changes by preparing and running general ledger (GL) reconciliation templates, reviewing differences, and updating mapping tables that convert data from old systems to new ones. The role works closely with business and technology teams to share progress updates, track issues, and ensure reconciliation items are resolved on time during each conversion cycle.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the design and build of data conversion reconciliations for GL data
Assist in tracking and researching reconciliation variances
Communicate, as needed, between teams to communicate statuses, defects within the conversion process, and resolutions of reconciliation items
Update mapping tables and/or reconciliation templates as needed, based on findings of each reconciliation phase
