Overall Responsibilities:
The Solution Analyst will manage and deliver assigned projects successfully, ensuring all project objectives are met. This role involves planning project activities, allocating resources effectively, estimating project duration, controlling schedules to meet deadlines, and engaging and managing project stakeholders. The analyst will develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans, provide consistent project updates, and build and manage communication plans to keep all relevant stakeholders informed. Additionally, they will coordinate meetings, ensure customer satisfaction, apply risk management skills, and manage project communications and documentation comprehensively.
Software Requirements:
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with communication tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).
- Knowledge of risk management software (e.g., RiskWatch, Active Risk Manager).
Technical Skills (Category-wise):
Project Management:
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in developing and managing project schedules and work plans.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Strong skills in building and managing communication plans.
- Proven ability to engage and manage project stakeholders effectively.
Risk Management:
- Experience in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks.
Documentation:
- Proficiency in managing project documentation and communications.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects through their full life cycle.
- Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Plan and allocate resources for project activities.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, strategy, and adjustments.
- Build and manage communication plans to ensure all stakeholders are informed.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, managing time effectively.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by keeping clients informed about project progress.
- Identify and manage project risks to ensure smooth project progression.
- Manage all project documentation and communications comprehensively.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.
