Job Title: Junior Software Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Java Backend Engineer to design and build reliable backend services used in data-intensive and revenue-related systems. You will work on production systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and take ownership of backend modules end to end.
You should be comfortable working independently, while also engaging in code reviews, design discussions, and iterative improvement.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
- 2–3 years of professional experience in Java backend development
- Strong understanding of OOP principles, data structures, and algorithmic thinking
- Experience building backend services using Jakarta EE / Jersey
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into clean module designs
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
NICE TO HAVE
- Comfortable working in a Linux-based environment
- Exposure to Python or Go
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud services
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows (code reviews, branching, PRs)
