About the Product:

CrowdStrike Falcon is a two-component security product. One component is a “sensor”, which is a lightweight agent installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon cloud. The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network, can correlate malicious behavior across multiple machines, and presents our customers’ operations teams with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments.

About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Linux sensor development team. This role combines technical leadership with people management, overseeing the design and implementation of new security features in our lightweight Linux agent. You'll guide a team of engineers working with eBPF and other advanced technologies to extend Falcon's capabilities across diverse environments, including containerized workloads in Kubernetes.

  • Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions for Linux sensor development

  • Collaborate with Product Management to define roadmaps and prioritize features

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical guidance on complex features spanning file system, memory, process, and networking subsystems

  • Ensure high code quality, security standards, and performance optimization

  • Participate in technical design reviews and architecture discussions

Operational Excellence:

  • Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile methodologies

  • Coordinate incident response for customer-reported issues

  • Ensure team meets reliability and performance SLAs

What You'll Need:

  • 3+ years of engineering management experience with teams of 5+ engineers

  • 7+ years of hands-on Linux/Unix development experience in C/C++

  • Strong background in high-concurrency, multi-threaded applications

  • Proven track record of shipping production software with high reliability requirements
