The OSS Engineer plays a critical role within Managed Services, responsible for the integration, migration, configuration, and optimization of telecom network elements across RAN and Core domains. The role ensures seamless network operations, high availability, and efficient service delivery across multi-vendor environments
What you will do:
- Integration, migration, and configuration of RAN & Core network nodes across multi-vendor platforms (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE, Cisco, Alcatel, Samsung).
- Performing end-to-end node integration and ensuring successful commissioning in live networks.
- Executing BSC migrations for 2G networks across multiple OEMs.
- Managing migration activities for 4G and 5G nodes, ensuring minimal service impact.
- Activating counters and CTRs for performance monitoring and reporting.
- Performing OSS patch upgrades and system updates across all vendor platforms.
- Managing license loading and capacity enhancement activities for OSS servers.
- Configuring routing changes (addition/deletion) in OSS switches.
- Supporting transport node integration and migration activities.
- Ensuring compliance with operational processes, quality standards, and customer requirements.
The skills you bring:
- Strong understanding of telecommunications networks (2G, 4G, 5G) and associated protocols.
- Hands-on experience with OSS platforms such as ENM (Ericsson Network Manager) and/or NetAct (Nokia).
- Proven expertise in RAN and Core nodes integration and migration
- Solid knowledge of: Linux/Unix systems , TCP/IP and networking fundamentals and Telecom protocols and architectures.
- Familiarity with multi-vendor telecom environments.
- Understanding of incident, change, and problem management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years in OSS, telecom network operations, or managed services.
- Relevant certifications in Red Hat Linux Certification and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)Certifications are an added advantage but not mandatory

- RAN Network Understanding: Deep knowledge of RAN architecture, components, and integration.
- Software Upgrade Process (E2E): Manage and execute end-to-end upgrade cycles across all OEMs, specifically Huawei.
- KPI Monitoring & Optimization: Track, analyze, and improve RAN KPIs to ensure optimal performance.
- Call Flow Analysis: Understand and troubleshoot call flows for voice and data services.
- Process Excellence: Drive automation and zero-touch processes in planning and execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align on deliverables.
- Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions, workshops, and documentation for team knowledge enhancement.
- Incident & Change Management: Handle escalations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on upgrades, KPI trends, and process improvements.
The skills you bring:
- Strong understanding of RAN technologies (2G/4G/5G SA).
- Expertise in Huawei RAN systems and familiarity with other OEMs (Ericsson, Nokia, ZTE).
- Proficiency in software upgrade methodologies and rollback strategies.
- Knowledge of network KPIs and performance optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with call flows, signaling, and troubleshooting tools.
- Solid grasp of process frameworks (ITIL, Lean Six Sigma preferred).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with cloud-native RAN solutions and virtualization.
- Ability to work with automation tools and scripting for process efficiency.
- Align SCM-RAN initiatives with organizational digital transformation goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2-6 years of experience in RAN/SCM domain.
- Relevant certifications in RAN technologies, cloud, or process management are a plus.
