Job Title: Digital Content Writer
Overview:
The Digital Content Writer is responsible for crafting persuasive, brand-consistent, and performance-optimized messaging across Cineverse’s channels while building foundational documents that ensure long-term efficiency and brand cohesion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit copy for CRM campaigns, owned media placements, and app store listings.
- Develop campaign messaging frameworks to unify storytelling across Theatrical, FAST, SVOD, and Catalogue campaigns.
- Build and maintain content calendars across newsletters, editorial, and partner promotions.
- Draft editorial stories, blog posts, and press releases to strengthen Cineverse brand positioning.
- Collaborate with Merchandising to support SEO/ASO optimization for discoverability.
- Lead the creation of brand style guides covering tone, messaging, and voice.
- Develop AI prompt libraries and guides to accelerate and standardize copy creation.
- Support retention strategies with cancel-offer and churn messaging flows.
- Partner with Marketing Ops and Insights on A/B testing and reporting.
- Ensure all messaging aligns with Cineverse’s brand and campaign priorities.
- Ready to work US hours: 10:30 am – 7:00 pm ET / 7:30 am – 4 pm PT
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional experience in content marketing, copywriting, content writing or digital storytelling.
- Experience in streaming, media, gaming, News editorial or consumer entertainment.
- US market & culture experience is a must
- Strong background in short-form and long-form content (emails, push, editorial, press).
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to translate insights into messaging.
- Excellent English grammar, attention to detail, and adaptability to multiple brand voices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI copy tools, workflows, and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of editorial or PR content development.
- Familiarity with SEO, ASO, and funnel-based messaging.( preferred)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
- Preferred: Coursework or certifications in Digital Marketing, Copywriting, or App Store Optimization (ASO).
- Additional Value: Familiarity with CRM platforms, UX writing, or lifecycle marketing copywriting is a plus.
