Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with 6+ years of experience in the US Healthcare domain and strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, leveraging data-driven insights to improve healthcare processes, reporting, and decision-making. This role requires a blend of domain knowledge, analytical skills, and technical proficiency to deliver actionable insights that support compliance, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from healthcare stakeholders (payers, providers, regulatory teams).
Translate business needs into technical specifications and data models.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate healthcare data from multiple sources (claims, EMR/EHR, enrollment, provider data).
Utilize Python for advanced data analysis, automation, and predictive modeling.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights in healthcare datasets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, operations, IT) to design reporting solutions and dashboards.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data governance standards.
Document processes, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Support testing, validation, and deployment of data-driven solutions.
Required Skills
6 +Years of Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
3+ Years of Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and statistical modeling.
6+ Years of Solid understanding of healthcare data structures (claims, eligibility, provider, clinical data).
Knowledge of US healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance (HIPAA, CMS guidelines).
Experience in data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and translate technical findings into business insights.
