Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking charge of the development process, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the required specifications. The position serves as the main liaison for project-related communications, overseeing progress and addressing challenges to deliver effective software solutions. The role demands a proactive approach to managing tasks and collaborating with different teams to achieve project goals efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance team productivity and software quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA database concepts and in-memory computing.
- Experience in developing and optimizing complex ABAP programs and reports.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 frameworks for user interface development.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in SAP environments.
- Understanding of integration techniques between SAP modules and external systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
