Project Role Description
Lead the enterprise design, architecture, and governance of Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP/Data 360) solutions to enable scalable, secure, and insight-driven customer engagement platforms. Drive strategic data transformation initiatives by aligning business objectives with robust data architecture, advanced identity resolution, and real-time activation frameworks.

Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Architecture & Leadership
Define and own enterprise-wide Salesforce Data Cloud architecture strategy, ensuring scalability, performance, governance, and cost optimization.
Establish Data Cloud as a core Customer 360 foundation integrated across CRM, Marketing, Commerce, Service, and external ecosystems.
Drive architectural decisions across ingestion, harmonization (DMOs/DLOs), identity resolution, calculated insights, and real-time activation.
Data Engineering & Platform Design
Architect and optimize high-volume data pipelines using batch, streaming, API-based ingestion, and zero-copy federation patterns.
Design enterprise-grade data models aligned with canonical data frameworks and governance standards.
Lead advanced implementations of Calculated Insights, Data Transforms, and real-time segmentation.
Governance, Security & Compliance
Define enterprise data governance frameworks including consent management, privacy compliance data quality, and metadata standards.
Implement identity resolution strategies using deterministic and probabilistic matching.
Establish monitoring frameworks for credit consumption, performance, scalability, and operational resilience.
Activation & Business Enablement
Enable AI-powered personalization, predictive segmentation, and real-time customer journeys.
Drive activation across Marketing Cloud, Personalization, CRM, advertising platforms, and external downstream systems.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate customer engagement strategies into scalable technical solutions.
Operational Excellence
Implement observability, performance benchmarking, and cost-optimization strategies.
Lead platform audits, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise architects, C-level stakeholders, and business leaders.
Lead cross-functional teams including architects, developers, data engineers, and consultants.
Support pre-sales, RFP responses, solution estimations, and architecture governance boards.
Mentor senior architects and build Data Cloud capability within the organization.

Professional & Technical Skills
Deep expertise in Identity Resolution, Data Modeling (DMOs/DLOs), Calculated Insights, Data Transforms
Strong SQL and advanced data engineering fundamentals
Experience integrating cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake
Expertise in enterprise-scale data platform design and governance
Experience in multi-org, multi-region implementations
Strong understanding of API integrations and event-driven architectures
Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certification (mandatory)
Additional Salesforce Architect certifications preferred
