Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating and implementing advanced technology solutions tailored to new and evolving industries and products. This role requires translating complex system requirements into detailed design specifications, ensuring that the solutions developed are both innovative and aligned with project goals. The position demands continuous engagement with evolving technologies and adapting designs to meet emerging market needs, fostering creativity and technical excellence throughout the development process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and project understanding.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to optimize development processes.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Demand Planning.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Order Management.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices related to demand planning solutions.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex system requirements to create effective design specifications.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within packaged application environments.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect demand planning systems with other enterprise applications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in BlueYonder Demand Planning.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
