Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless functionality. Continuous refinement and adaptation of applications to evolving business demands are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring that the software remains efficient and relevant.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any challenges to maintain timelines and quality standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Financial Accounting Core.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and their application within software solutions.
- Experience in designing and configuring enterprise-level financial applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to financial software systems.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data flow between financial modules and other enterprise systems.
- Skilled in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Financial Accounting Core.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
