Summary:
As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies, and ensuring that the software solutions meet client requirements effectively and efficiently. You will engage in problem-solving and decision-making processes that impact the project and the team, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Act as a PLM Technical Leader, driving end-to-end project execution for Windchill implementations, migrations, integrations, and upgrades.
Define technical architecture, integration strategy, and migration approach for large-scale enterprise PLM programs.
Lead multi-functional teams across onsite and offshore, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Collaborate closely with clients, business stakeholders, and vendor teams to manage requirements and provide technical governance.
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and compliance with best practices across all technical solutions.
Drive risk management, project planning, and escalation handling, ensuring smooth delivery and client satisfaction.
Mentor and guide technical leads and developers, fostering capability development within the team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Extensive expertise in PTC Windchill modules and PLM processes, covering PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, PartsLink etc.
Strong hands-on experience in data migrations (WBM, ETL), complex integrations (ESI, OData, RESI), and interface design with ERP and CAD systems.
Proven ability in Windchill upgrades, performance tuning, high-availability setups, and environment architecture.
Deep technical proficiency in Java, JSP, Info*Engine, Windchill APIs, and web services (SOAP/REST).
Expertise in Data Lake integration, transaction monitoring, and queue management for robust data flows.
Skilled in project leadership, Agile delivery, and CI/CD implementation for PLM projects.
Strong client engagement, stakeholder communication, and technical solution presentation skills
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 14 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
