About the Role
ZS seeks a User Experience (UX) Design Manager to join our ZAIDYN UX team in our Pune office. The ZAIDYN UX team is a diverse, collaborative and talented group with offices in India and the United States. The UX team within this group owns the user-centered strategy, research and design in support of the ZAIDYN platform of commercial, clinical, and medical products. The ideal candidate is a strong UX/UI designer with experience leading and working in cross-functional digital product teams.
The UX Manager is a player-coach leader accountable for the end-to-end user experience of a ZAIDYN product area while building and developing a high-performing design team. The role blends hands-on design leadership, strategic ownership, and people management in equal measure. We are looking for someone who has 10+ years experience as a UX Designer with at least 3 years in UX Design leadership/management. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
ZAIDYN is a complex, enterprise-grade, data-dense B2B platform. You will set the bar for design quality through direct involvement, grow the designers around you, and connect product-level UX work to platform-wide standards. Modern UX leadership means designing for interconnected systems spanning users, agents, data, and workflows, applying AI fluently in day-to-day design work, and tying design decisions to measurable adoption, retention, and growth.
What You'll Do

• Own the experience. Drive end-to-end UX outcomes for your product area, including usability, adoption, quality, and feasibility, with an explicit success metric and baseline for every initiative.

• Lead hands-on. Contribute directly to strategy, problem framing, complex workflows, and data-dense UI, stepping in personally on ambiguous, high-risk, or agentic design challenges.

• Develop the team. Hire, coach, and grow UX designers and Leads; maintain development plans, run performance cycles, and foster an accountable, high-performing critique culture.

• Enable delivery. Set team operating rhythms, ensure resourcing and prioritization, remove roadblocks, and improve productivity and delivery predictability.

• Influence cross-functionally. Keep Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer Success aligned on scope and tradeoffs; turn disagreement into documented decisions and advocate for UX with clear, evidence-based rationale.

• Align to the platform. Connect your area's work to broader ZAIDYN efforts, collaborate with peer UX Managers on shared standards, and uphold design-system governance and accessibility as non-negotiable.

• Contribute to cross-platform UX initiatives. Including our AI Pattern library and design system, UX metric collection, UX/UI process improvements, and other approaches to grow our team's impact and delivery of successful product experiences.

What You'll Bring

• People leadership. Proven experience managing and developing UX designers, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.

• Enterprise craft. Demonstrated success delivering UX for complex, enterprise-grade products, operating at both strategic and execution levels on ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives.

• Complex domains. Experience in domains such as finance, banking, insurance, or healthcare, including data-heavy workflows and logic-based systems (formulas, rules, algorithms).

• AI-driven design. Active, advanced use of AI design tools in daily work, with the ability to show how AI accelerates workflows and improves quality, speed, or decision-making, beyond basic concept or prototype generation.

• Agentic experiences. Experience designing interfaces for systems that act on users' behalf, making intent, autonomy, transparency, and control clear, safe, and trustworthy.

• Demonstrated UX/UI skills. Candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing impactful, best-practice based UX and UI design.
