Be a part of a global leader in investment and wealth management. As a Trading Services Manager - Vice President in the Confirmations team, you'll ensure the accuracy and compliance of OTC Legal Documents, drive process efficiencies, and contribute to strategic automation initiatives.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for issuing and executing OTC Legal Documents with clients, understanding the fundamentals of financial products, and improving control infrastructure to meet regulatory requirements. Your ability to promote efficiency, manage analysis requirements, and oversee data processes is crucial. You'll also contribute to automation projects and ensure compliance with regulatory rules.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and affirm legal confirmations, understanding legal aspects related to derivatives.
- Ensure legal documentation aligns with the Risk Management System.
- Drive efficiency in processes and identify incorrect booking practices.
- Educate the Middle Office on the impact of these practices.
- Investigate and resolve issues promptly as per Business Standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal Lines of Business, including Middle Office and Front Office.
- Contribute to automation projects and improve process controls.
- Manage new analysis requirements across stakeholders.
- Oversee data gathering, analyze data, and report MIS using various data sources.
- Produce time-sensitive daily reports for break resolutions.
Required Qualifications:
- CA/MBA with 11-13 years or Graduate/Post-Graduate with 14-15 years of experience in operations.
- Strong partnership abilities and motivation.
- Preferable ISDA knowledge and derivatives product experience.
- Ability to handle high complexity in product coverage and adapt to changing priorities.
- Understanding of the downstream impact of actions and the need for strong controls.
- Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and solid business judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work global hours and willingness to travel if needed.
- Extensive knowledge of CFTC/EMIR/NCMR rules.
