Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Log, track, and follow up on defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing during development cycles.
- Validate UI/UX behavior across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce bugs and verify fixes
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
- Document test results and prepare clear, concise bug reports with reproducible steps.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage.
Technical Knowledge: - 2-4 years of experience in Testing.
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with different types of testing: functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UAT, and exploratory testing.
- Experience writing and executing manual test cases from requirements or user stories.
- Basic knowledge of querying SQL / NoSQL databases to validate data integrity.
- Exposure to bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, HTTP) to understand application behavior.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Exposure to performance/load testing tools such as JMeter.
- Knowledge of mobile testing on iOS and Android platforms.
