Your role
A crucial aspect of delivering high-quality solutions is ensuring that the output of developers meets the expected standards. While manual testing remains significant, there’s a growing emphasis on automating various aspects of testing—including functional, regression, visual, performance, and compatibility testing. At Mindcurv, Technical Test Engineers play a pivotal role in this process by leading test automation efforts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Experience in agile development projects using frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
- Ability to design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve testing bottlenecks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise bug reports, documentation, and status updates.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute proactively.
- Commitment to maintaining high work ethics and accountability.
Who you are
- 3–6 years of strong experience in all stages of the STLC, including test planning, design, execution, and reporting.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools: Cypress or Playwright.
- Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining robust test automation frameworks.
- Proficient in writing code in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
- Experience in developing automation suites using BDD frameworks like Cucumber or JBehave, and TDD frameworks like JUnit.
- Good knowledge of testing RESTful APIs
- Experience with git-based version control systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, etc
- Experience in working with continuous integration/build servers like Jenkins, GitLab, AzureDevOps, etc
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or NPM.
Additional Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience in web automation using Selenium with Java.
- Experience in API automation tools such as Karate, RestAssured, or similar.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or similar.
- Exposure to mobile app testing frameworks like Appium or Detox is a plus.
- Knowledge of testing on cloud platforms like AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs is desirable.
- Experience in cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across various devices and platforms.
- Experience in generating detailed reports using tools like Allure, Extent Reports, or similar.
- Experience in container technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes)
- Basic understanding or experience in security testing tools and methodologies.
