We are looking for an experienced Software Developer for our Cloud OTA / TAC product line who can straddle both business requirements and technology implementations to deliver robust, enterprise-class solutions.
Job Skills & QualificationsEducation, experience- Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience is required.
- A minimum 3 years of total IT experience.
Architecture & Deployment
- Sound knowledge and hands on with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins & Microservices.
- Sound knowledge on SQL and Non SQL databases like Cassandra.
- Sound knowledge on deployment over AWS/GCP.
- Good knowledge on software security principles.
- Knowledge of VMware, Openstack, Kibana, Elastic search or Data dog is good to have.
Development & Validation
- Experience in micro-services architectures.
- Expert developer in Java8 and Java EE 7 or higher: CDI, Tom EE or Wildfly or liberty.
- Experience in TDD (Junit, Mockito, Pact, Jococo) & ATDD.
- Experience in defining test strategies.
- Expert in Log4j2, REST API & Linux.
- Python knowledge is good to have
Delivery Tools
- Good knowledge on CI/CD(Mercurial, Git, Maven, Jenkins)
- Candidate must be hands on with software delivery process & tools – Scrum, Kanban & Jira.
- Experience on Static code analysis with Sonar, Fortify etc is required.
- Knowledge on confluence will be a plus.
