ProArch is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Systems Engineer specializing in Automation to join our growing team. As a trusted IT services and consulting company, we strive to provide innovative solutions to our clients while ensuring the highest levels of security and performance across their IT environments. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming manual processes into automated, scalable solutions, enhancing our overall service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks for various IT processes and workflows, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Evaluate existing systems and propose improvements through automation tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automated processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Document automation processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in automation practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on automation.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and knowledge of automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their automation services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security practices, and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A broad understanding of IT services, trends, and best practices in automation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
