Job Description- Builds analytic and design skills.
- Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
- Apply Indian (IS) and international design codes and standards in structural design.
- Perform design and analysis of concrete and steel structures, exploring multiple design options considering various materials, configurations, and design philosophies.
- Review multidisciplinary inputs and integrate them effectively into structural designs.
- Interpret geotechnical and topographical survey reports to derive essential design parameters.
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure clash-free and code-compliant designs.
- Develop automation tools using Excel macros to improve design efficiency.
- Learn and implement computational design tools including Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, and Python to reduce repetitive work and enhance productivity.
- Assist in the design, coordination, planning, and execution of engineering projects.
- Engage with senior engineers to understand and execute project requirements.
- Review structural drawings prepared by modelers and conduct QA/QC checks in accordance with company standards.
- Prepare design calculations, Reports, conceptual sketches, technical schemes, and memos.
- Support senior engineers in delivering high-quality project outcomes.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals and engineering reports.
- Effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, client representatives, and contractors.
