As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will lead engineering teams that design, build, and scale intelligent agent-based systems and platform capabilities powering G-P’s products. You’ll shape the future of how AI agents collaborate, orchestrate workflows, and deliver business outcomes at scale.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role where you’ll partner with Product, Architecture, and cross-functional leaders to deliver breakthrough innovations in AI and SaaS. You will report to the Director of Platform Engineering and play a pivotal role in building G-P’s engineering excellence.
What You’ll Do- Build & Lead Teams – Attract, grow, develop and retain engineering talent with expertise in AI, platforms, and distributed systems. Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and innovation-driven culture.
- Shape Agentic AI Experiences – Drive the design and development of agentic frameworks, orchestration layers, and AI-driven product capabilities leveraging LLMs, intelligent automation, and adaptive workflows.
- Lead Delivery & Execution – Own end-to-end delivery of complex SaaS and AI initiatives, ensuring predictable execution, scalability, and measurable business impact with KPIs and metrics.
- Provide Technical Leadership – Guide architecture decisions, solution design, and trade-offs for large-scale cloud platforms and AI-first applications. Balance speed of innovation with enterprise-grade reliability, security, and compliance.
- Influence Strategy – Partner closely with Product Managers and Architects to define the platform roadmap, ensuring alignment of engineering investments with business outcomes.
- Advance Engineering Excellence – Champion modern engineering practices: CI/CD, developer productivity, secure-by-design, observability, cost efficiency, and performance at scale.
- Drive Global Collaboration – Lead distributed engineering teams across geographies, enabling seamless collaboration in a remote-first environment.
- 13+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-scale SaaS or cloud-native products.
- Agentic AI Expertise: Hands-on experience with agentic systems, LLM orchestration, AI frameworks (AWS Bedrock Agent Core, Vertex AI, or equivalent). Strong understanding of AI/ML model integration, prompt engineering, observability and evaluation.
- Technical Depth: Proven background in design, development and rollout of distributed event-driven systems using Node.js, Java, TypeScript, Python and modern cloud stacks (AWS, Serverless, Containerization).
- SaaS Platform Leadership: Experience designing and scaling multi-tenant SaaS platforms with high availability, security, and compliance.
- Execution Excellence: Track record of delivering complex, high-impact initiatives with Agile/Scrum methodologies in high-growth or startup-like environments.
- Leadership: Ability to inspire, mentor, and level-up engineering talent. Skilled at balancing hands-on technical guidance with strategic leadership.
- Global Mindset: Experience leading distributed teams across time zones and working effectively in cross-cultural environments.
- Work at the intersection of Agentic AI and SaaS platforms — building intelligent, adaptive systems that shape the future of global work.
- Influence technical strategy and organizational design in a fast-growing engineering org.
- Solve complex engineering challenges at scale — from orchestrating multi-agent systems to scaling secure, compliant cloud platforms.
