Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Emerging Tech department in a hybrid capacity in Bangalore, reporting to the VP, Software Engineering.
This is a green field opportunity to define and build a new class of market-defining AI security products. As a member of a growing team, you will be validating and testing security controls for AI-specific traffic, ensuring the integrity of model inference endpoints, ensuring our services are reliable, scale efficiently, and offer a delightful experience to our customers.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Collaborating with teams during design, and maintaining cloud-based software solutions
- Validate and test inference code performance, ensuring seamless integration between LLMs and CUDA libraries
- Perform testing at scale with strong proficiency in Python for test automation, leveraging modern testing frameworks and AI-driven tools to design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases
- Provide actionable insights to the development team to enhance product quality and support effective issue debugging
- Creating, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify issues, validate product functionality, and ensure product quality

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Extensive experience in Test Automation and QA best practices, including 5+ years of programming experience in Python
- Background building tools and utilities to support the testing and development process, proficiency with Linux or Unix systems, and experience in test automation framework development
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines, with experience in API/UI testing and automation
- Comprehensive understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies, along with experience using defect tracking tools like JIRA
- Proficiency with AI tools for software development and familiarity with AWS cloud and Kubernetes
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Advanced Automation Expertise: Proven track record in designing and maintaining robust test suites using pytest and Playwright
- AI/ML Domain Knowledge: Direct experience in validating AI-driven products
