Weave is looking for an experienced and highly skilled FrontEnd Engineer having experience in building charts and dashboards. You will be joining a team of talented engineers that share a common interest in distributed systems, scalability, and continued development. You will get a chance to apply and grow your engineering skills to help bring local companies closer to the people they serve.
Our teams are cross-functional agile teams composed of a product manager, back-end, and front-end engineers. Teams are highly autonomous with the ownership and ability to act in Weave’s best interest.

Reports to: Engineering Manager
Build features targeting Weave's client application using web technologies (TypeScript/React/HTML/CSS)
Work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional, user-friendly web pages
Conduct thorough testing of applications, identify bugs, and fix them efficiently. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring the best possible performance across a variety of devices and browsers
Lead the maintenance, enhancement, and expansion of our shared component library and design system, ensuring they are easy to use, well-documented, and aligned with industry standards
Provide architectural guidance and technical direction across multiple teams, ensuring cohesive and scalable solutions.
Mentor and support engineers across various teams, helping them grow their technical skills and understanding of best practices.
Float between teams to offer support where it's most needed, addressing critical issues and helping teams overcome technical challenges.
Establish and enforce development standards, practices, and tooling to improve code quality and developer productivity.
Tackle vague and loosely defined problems and develop innovative solutions that have a broad impact on the organization.
Identify and solve large-scale problems within the department, creating solutions that accelerate development for all teams.
8+ years experience developing rich applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other web technologies
6+ years experience with at least one or more modern web application frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, etc.)
Experience with building high-performance, reusable code, e.g. UI components
Proven experience in building, maintaining, and evolving design systems and component libraries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on creating scalable solutions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
A hunger desire to solve meaningful problems for customers
Experience with consuming RESTful APIs
Experience with debugging
Experience with performance tuning and benchmarking
Follows trends of the web platform
Experience with NW.js/Electron
Experience with idiomatic TypeScript
Experience with React
Familiar with Sentry and Storybook
Testing with Jest, Cypress.io, or Playwright
It would be awesome if you have experience with Rechart and built dashboards in the past.
