We're looking for a talented and experienced Sr. Technical Lead (Backend), to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality applications using cutting-edge front-end technologies and provide technical leadership and direction for the development team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with 6+ years of experience in leading and managing development teams (In-House and Vendors).
- Proven expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including experience with various versions (e.g., T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers).
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB, including data modelling, indexing strategies, and querying capabilities.
- Solid understanding of Azure Synapse Analytics, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration concepts.
- Experience with data security best practices and compliance regulations.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques for relational and NoSQL databases.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction for the data platform team, focusing on Microsoft technologies like SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex, scalable, and high-performing web applications.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in technologies.
- Mentor developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in architectural decisions and define the technical roadmap.
- Estimate tasks, manage timelines, and track project progress.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring project delivery within budget and on time.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

- Experience in GitHub Copilot.
- Experience of working in manufacturing domain, with experience / awareness on the following tools:
- RTDuet, Factory Talk, PC&R, SAP
- OSI-PI, HighByte
- Microsoft Azure Application Insights, to monitor application performance and analyze the outcomes (response-time, errors etc.) to actions.
