What You'll Do- Carry out technical assessments on requested features and identify the scope of work and dependencies for development requirements.
- Take complete ownership of assigned features from inception, build, development, testing, and maintenance.
- Own major parts of the system, crafting and delivering quality stable solutions.
- Develop fast, maintainable, and quality code.
- Perform software testing, verification, and validation.
- Participate in code review and other code quality processes.
- Offer technical mentorship and support for our collaborators.
- Troubleshoot and debug code to identify software issues.
- Mentor team members to foster their professional growth.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or its practical equivalent is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in C++.
- Familiarity with graphics programming would be an advantage.
- Experience working with object-oriented development and programming.
- Proven ability to debug and solve complex problems.
- Experience with software engineering guidelines, including design patterns and UML.
- Understanding of memory management and multi-threading processes.
- A passion for solving complicated problems and learning new skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- High level of personal and professional accountability.
- Ability to meet changing demands and adapt to frequently changing priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication, and customer service skills.
- Capability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
