The Senior Frontend Engineer will lead feature development, troubleshoot issues, manage technical debt, and implement design systems while collaborating with teams and ensuring code quality.
Position: Senior Frontend Engineer
Location: Pune, India
Experience: 7+ years professional experience in frontend development with proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Role and Responsibilities:
- Feature Development: Collaborate with Product Managers to conduct impact analysis on new initiatives, design and implement new features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues promptly, maintaining application stability and performance.
- Design Systems and Component Libraries: Develop and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
- White Labeling: Implement white-label solutions, enabling customization and rebranding of applications to meet diverse client needs.
- Technical Debt Management: Address technical debt by updating frameworks and libraries, enhancing application performance and security.
- Technical Leadership: Lead frontend development practices (code review, coding standard, developing patterns), participate in architectural discussions, contributing to technical decisions and ensuring code scalability. Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient Coding: Demonstrated ability to write efficient, maintainable code.
- Framework Expertise: Extensive production level experience with at least one major frontend framework, such as React, Next.js, Vue. Familiarity with modern build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar.
- Modern JavaScript: Strong knowledge of TypeScript and ES6 features.
- State Management: Solid understanding of state management libraries like Redux.
- Responsive Design: Expertise in responsive CSS and SCSS for creating adaptable user interfaces.
- API integration: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
- AI Tools: Leverage AI tools and platforms to speed up development processes, improve user experiences, and optimize application performance.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for frontend applications.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
