We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic, cross-functional team. You’ll build and optimize AI-driven solutions and data pipelines, working with modern cloud and data technologies to deliver impactful results.

About Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and technical **BI Developer** to design, develop, and maintain our suite of business intelligence solutions. This role is centered on the **Microsoft Power BI** ecosystem, focusing on creating high-performance data models and intuitive visualizations. The successful candidate will move beyond "drag-and-drop" reporting, instead focusing on a structured lifecycle that ensures data integrity and
deployment reliability.
We are specifically looking for a candidate who treats BI development like software engineering. **Advanced SQL** proficiency and experience implementing **CI/CD** workflows for reporting assets are heavily favored and essential for our modern data stack.
What You’ll Do:

• **Power BI ** Develop and optimize complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports.
• **Sophisticated Modeling: ** Design robust data models using DAX and Power Query (M) to support self-service analytics and enterprise reporting.
• **SQL Development:** Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
• **Automated Deployments:** Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for Power BI using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Power BI Deployment Pipelines.
• **Performance Tuning:** Monitor and optimize report performance, including partitioning, incremental refreshes, and SQL query tuning.
• **Collaboration:** Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.

What we're looking for:

• **Expert Power BI Skills:** Proven experience with the full Power BI stack, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and Workspace administration.
• **Advanced SQL Proficiency:** Mastery of window functions, CTEs, complex joins, and stored procedure optimization.
• **DevOps & Version Control:** Experience using Git for version control and implementing automated testing/deployment for BI content.
• **Data Warehousing Principles:** Deep understanding of Star and Snowflake schemas and ETL/ELT processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with **Tabular Editor**, **DAX Studio**, or **ALM Toolkit**.
• Knowledge of Databricks and data manipulation using Spark.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Synapse, or Data Factory).
• Scripting experience in **Python** or **PowerShell** for automation and data manipulation.
• Previous experience working with Looker or Qlik products.
• Previous experience working with dbt.
