Role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Cloud Browser Isolation Product Team within the Engineering department. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering. You will help build and scale the world’s largest cloud security platform, bringing your vision and passion to a team of experts enabling organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility with a cloud-first strategy.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Design, build, and maintain integrations with internal or external products and services to enhance offerings beyond a single solution
- Implement APIs and microservices in Go (Golang) for scalable data exchange and real-time session handling
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to ensure cloud services align with company standards
- Develop and maintain solutions for traffic management, monitoring, and logging to ensure high reliability and efficient debugging
- Participate in on-call rotations to promptly investigate and resolve production issues while continuously improving system reliability

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on developing backend cloud systems using Go (Golang)
- Proficiency in building APIs using HTTP, gRPC, or REST and managing secure endpoint communication
- Experience with containerized application development using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Proven track record of building backend systems with high performance and reliability expectations
- Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP, DNS, and SSL/TLS encryption
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Familiarity or willingness to contribute to NodeJS backend development
- Exposure to DevOps automation workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with distributed messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
