The Program Manager oversees project scope, develops implementation plans, manages resources, coordinates status meetings, and ensures client relationship management for successful project transitions.
The Program Manager is responsible for spearheading enterprise-wide automation initiatives across Reconciliation processes, Internal Data systems, and Data Ingestion & Interface platforms. This role involves identifying automation opportunities, developing comprehensive implementation strategies, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver transformative solutions through Claude AI and Generative AI technologies. The successful candidate will manage complex automation projects from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems while driving significant process improvements. Serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful delivery of automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies and finalizes automation project scope across Reconciliation, Internal Data, and Data Ingestion systems
- Develops detailed implementation plans for AI-driven process reengineering initiatives including resource allocation and timeline management
- Manages and coordinates with internal teams, vendors, and AI technology partners to ensure successful, on-time delivery of automation solutions
- Generates comprehensive weekly status reports and conducts regular progress meetings with project teams and stakeholders
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing programs affecting 450+ employees and multiple management layers
- Schedules and leads steering committee meetings with C-level executives and senior management on automation strategy and ROI
- Manages and reports on budgets for automation implementations, ensuring cost-effective delivery
- Seeks out, recommends, and implements continuous process improvements through AI and automation technologies
- Serves as trusted relationship manager ensuring seamless communication between business units and technical teams
- Acts as bridge between various stakeholders including Operations, IT, Data teams, and Executive leadership
- Leads the evaluation, selection, and implementation of Claude AI and Generative AI solutions for process optimization
- Manages multiple simultaneous automation projects with minimal oversight while maintaining quality standards
- Drives change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of automated processes
Required Skills:
- Expert technical skills in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Clarizen) and advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, particularly Claude AI and Generative AI applications in business processes
- Financial Services experience with deep knowledge of Reconciliation, Data Management, and Interface systems
- Proven ability to project manage in matrix reporting environments with cross-functional teams
- Experience with process reengineering methodologies and automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and cloud-based AI solutions
- Strong technical acumen with ability to understand and communicate complex AI implementations
- Excellent attention to detail and exceptional documentation skills for process mapping and requirements gathering
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to C-level executives
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with proven stakeholder management capabilities
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking for complex automation challenges
- Experience with data governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements in financial services
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of relevant project management experience with focus on automation and digital transformation initiatives
- Proven experience implementing AI/ML solutions within Financial Services, particularly in Operations and Data Management
- Demonstrated success in process reengineering and automation projects delivering measurable ROI
- Consulting or client-facing experience in technology implementations
- PMP, Agile, or similar project management certifications preferred
- Experience with AI/ML platforms and understanding of Generative AI capabilities in business applications
