Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Data Analyst. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing data to answer questions, analysing data trends, generating insights, and supporting decision-making processes to drive business growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives and projects.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Key Measurable:
- Accuracy and timeliness of data analysis and reporting.
- Number of actionable insights generated per quarter.
- Improvement in business processes based on data-driven recommendations.
- User satisfaction with dashboards and reports.
- Contribution to achieving business goals and KPIs.
Minimum Professional Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Advanced experience in Excel
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Reporting and Visualization Tool Experience:
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau for creating interactive dashboards.
- Familiarity with Power BI for business intelligence reporting.
- Understanding of Excel for data organization and basic analysis.
Beneficial Certifications or Qualifications:
- Certified Data Analyst (CDA) or equivalent certification.
- Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data Analyst.
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate.
- Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate.
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
