Sr Advanced Systems Engineer – Engine and Power System
Position Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and validate aerospace control systems and embedded solutions. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in control theory, systems engineering, embedded software, model-based development, and aerospace certification standards to support next-generation avionics, engine control, and actuation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop system requirements, architectures, and traceability using DOORS/DOORS NG.
- Perform functional decomposition, requirements allocation, verification, validation, and certification support.
- Design and analyze control systems using classical and modern control techniques (PID, Root Locus, Bode Analysis, Digital Control).
- Develop MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow models for plant modeling, simulation, auto-code generation, and verification.
- Support SIL/HIL testing, model validation, and system integration activities.
- Design and interface with sensors and actuators including speed, position, pressure, temperature, torque, current, voltage, vibration sensors, motors, valves, and solenoids.
- Develop embedded software in C for real-time control applications.
- Support aerospace compliance activities per ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace, Control Systems, or related engineering discipline.
