Lead direct sales for East India installed base of LSS business. Drive consultative engagements, demonstrate after-sales service value, align cross-functional teams, execute demos and proposals, support negotiations and order fulfillment, and chart a plan to double East Region business within three years.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Direct Sales for East India Installed base for LSS Business.
- Consultative engagements will be targeted towards both external customers and internal stakeholders in direct support of customer’s needs.
- Help Honeywell teams understand and develop effective Customer Engagement, Demonstrate value of after sales services, Customer feedback, end user plan of migration and product value propositions
- Help customers confidently understand product capabilities, product value and product integration within customer workflows and in direct support of customers strategic initiatives in maintaining installed base.
- Drive cross-functional alignment to support customer sale and decision process, participating in sales pursuit strategy planning, executing product demos aligned with Customer needs, assisting proposal team in right and fast commercial offerings, supporting customer negotiations, order fulfillment and hand-over to customer success team.
- Charting out a clear path for achieving the 2X business growth for the East Region in the next 3 years.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- Have experience with East region customers in the following Technologies & Processes: DCS, MES SCADA, PLC, MCC, Ethernet Networking, Cyber Security, Industrial Software Solutions like Historian, APC, OTS, Asset Management etc.
- Have industry domain knowledge and expertise around smart machine concepts (Industry 4.0, IIoT) in various verticals like MMM, Oil & Gas, Power, Life Sciences, Chemicals, Paper & Pulp etc.
- Have experience with technical sales support, direct sales (after sales), or sales consultant experience is required. Should be familiar with customer centric selling or equivalent sales process for solution selling. Direct Selling Experience of DCS/Turnkey System Solutions is mandatory.
- Must also have proven commercial awareness and acumen.
- Clear Understanding of East Region
- Overall 12+ Years’ Experience with minimum 3-4 years of experience in a direct customer-facing role (Sales & Marketing) in the automation industry and should have handled large accounts directly.
- Experience in developing strategic offering roadmap & execution and
- Experience in Collaborating with cross functional teams (Technology, Design,
- Engineering , Sales etc.)
- Experience collaborating across departments internally.
- Experience orchestrating meetings that include multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Ability to influence and communicate at all levels.
- High business acumen & technical aptitude.
- Comfortable in group settings to drive an agenda to meet desired outcomes.
- Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with strong persuasion, influencing abilities and credible confident presence.
- Motivated self-starter who enjoys a dynamic environment and seeks the challenge of winning in a rapidly changing marketplace.
- In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor offerings
- Working with East Region customers across MMM, Oil and Gas, Power, Consultants, Manufacturing etc.
