What will you do?

The candidate will be responsible for driving end to end performance testing lifecycle including requirement gathering, planning/preparing performance test strategy, execution of load test results and assisting the team in resolving performance test issues with guidance on troubleshooting and providing relevant solutions. Candidate will also be expected to provide continuous improvement ideas for new/existing process as well as provide future automation ideas by utilizing technologies like DevOps and Data Analytics.

Your scope of work / key responsibilities:

  • Planning, defining, executing, and analyzing high-level performance testing strategies and solutions through business, functional and technical expertise

  • Implementation of performance testing tools and scripts

  • Derive key performance indicators for performance tests based on application architecture

  • Analyze and trend performance and reliability of enterprise applications in production-like configuration and articulate test result impacts with key stakeholders using APM tools

  • Assisting in identifying, analyzing, mitigating and responding to project and operational risks

  • Assisting in utilizing efficient and effective processes and standards in order to continuously improve quality

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams of developers, system engineers, DBAs, architects, and app owners to identify, document, recommend, and implement performance improvement solutions.

  • Understand current team processes, then recommend and implement improvements that makes the team more agile and adapt to new ways of working.

Key Qualifications and experience:

  • University degree (B.Tech.)/college diploma in related discipline(s) or equivalent work experience, and/or 3-5 years in IT industry experience.

  • 4-7 years of experience into Performance testing/application monitoring tools

 Technical Credentials:

  • Hands on Experience in following testing toolsets: OpenText (formerly Microfocus) Performance Suite (Loadrunner Enterprise/Loadrunner Professional/Performance Center)

  • Sound understanding of 3-tier/n-tier architecture

  • Sound understanding of Performance Testing Java based applications, APIs and Cloud based applications

  • Experience in APM tools like CA APM, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk

  • Experience in Project Lifecycle, Incident, Change, Problem, SLA management.
