In this role, you will plan, design, develop, and test software systems and applications for enhancements and new products, including cloud‑based and internet‑related tools.
You will be part of a multi‑disciplinary Scrum team committed to delivering high‑quality, secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a multi‑disciplinary Scrum team to deliver high‑quality software.
- Ensure that delivered products meet quality expectations and work the first time for our customers.
- Plan and execute testing for new features across a wide range of technologies, including mobile and web services.
- Engage with architects, designers, and developers to understand product functionality and create comprehensive test plans.
- Translate product and architecture requirements into detailed test strategies, estimates, and execution plans.
- Log, track, and manage defects; recreate customer issues; and report bug metrics to management.
- Deliver high‑quality testing aligned with company and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, including expanding test automation.
Cloud (GCP) Responsibilities
- Design and execute test strategies for GCP‑based cloud‑native applications and distributed architectures.
- Validate reliability, scalability, performance, IAM configurations, networking, and security controls across GCP services.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to automate cloud deployments, testing workflows, and monitoring for GCP‑hosted solutions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in manual and automated testing.
- Strong experience with test management tools and frameworks such as Azure DevOps, LambdaTest, Selenium, SpecFlow, Cucumber, SoapUI, and Postman.
- Experience testing against industry standards such as PCI DSS and WCAG AA.
- Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and processes, with hands‑on application in team environments.
- Experience testing complex software solutions in an Agile environment.
- Proven ability to contribute to secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
- BTech degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university.
GCP Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and related DevOps tooling.
- Understanding of GCP IAM, VPC networking, Stackdriver monitoring, resource optimization, and cloud security best practices.
