As a Lead Engineer, you will be a key member of the MI AN PE CSF 4LS department, taking on a role in addressing field-reported issues and customer deployments related to the CSF portfolio. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting complex, multi-component issues and collaborating with development teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth and excellent communication skills to ensure timely resolution of customer-impacting problems and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot complex issues spanning multiple components, utilizing strong technical expertise.
- Collaborate closely with development teams for root cause analysis and effective problem-solving.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer-impacting problems, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders across different geographies and time zones.
- Document and report on issue resolution processes, providing clear and concise updates.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies relevant to the CSF domain.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely support for critical issues as needed.
You have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or a similar technical role, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
- Good technical depth in one or more domain areas like OpenSearch, Fluentd, and OpenSearch Dashboards or Metrics collection and visualization with Prometheus and Grafana or Maria DB , Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Experience with cloud technologies and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Good to have:
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and practices is an asset.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
