- Working knowledge of Keycloak: realms, clients, roles, basic federation and OIDC/OAuth2 flows; able to configure and debug common SSO issues with guidance.
- Working knowledge of OpenBao: secrets read/write, policies, basic use of KV; exposure to PKI/transit/database engines or willingness to deepen quickly.
- Kubernetes and Helm: deploy, upgrade, read logs, troubleshoot ingress/TLS at a practical level.
- Docker; comfortable with pipeline logs and artifacts in Jenkins (or similar).
- Python for automation and tests; can read Go/Java with support.
- Git, code review, documentation and runbooks.
- Interest in security: TLS, certificates, least privilege; learns scanning and hardening practices from the team.
- Strong collaboration; global / remote friendly.
- Implement features and fixes for Keycloak and OpenBao packaging and integrations per agreed designs.
- Extend CI jobs, tests (BDD/unit/integration), and release checks.
- Support certification runs: reproduce failures, collect evidence, fix or escalate.
- Maintain docs and examples for consumers (deployment, common errors, upgrade notes).
- Support integration work with MariaDB/LB/ingress under review.
- Participate in on-call-style troubleshooting rotation if the team operates one.
- 3–5 years Python; Git; Linux.
- Keycloak configuration and troubleshooting fundamentals.
- OpenBao/Vault-class basics.
- Kubernetes, Helm, Docker.
- Jenkins or equivalent CI.
- Testing: Robot/Pytest/Radish/Cucumber or similar— anyone in depth is enough to start.
