- Interest in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Rocky Linux (EL8+); willingness to learn lifecycle and patching rhythm.
- Scripting: Python and/or shell—able to extend existing scripts and write small utilities with review.

- Triage routine issues: reproduce failures, gather logs, propose fixes for review.
- Update documentation and examples (install paths, mirror usage, common pitfalls).
- Support internal consumers with clear, scoped answers; escalate complex lifecycle, subscription, or compliance topics.
- Participate in code reviews and team rituals; grow toward independent ownership of a well-bounded component.
- Linux fundamentals; interest in RHEL-class / Rocky-class systems.
- Python and/or shell scripting (beginner to intermediate).
