Position Title: Software Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Key Skills: Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST Microservices, Containerization, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance solutions with hands-on coding expertise.
- Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Write clean, efficient code following industry standards.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews, both formal and informal.
- Create and execute unit test plans, scripts, and data with precision.
- Document code changes and unit test results as per best practices.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance promptly.
- Participate in agile development processes and team meetings.
- Explore and implement Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new technologies/frameworks.
- Mentor and onboard junior developers.
Required Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in backend development.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong skills in Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Maven.
- Solid expertise in SQL, including queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Proven experience in developing REST and SOAP services.
- Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized platforms.
- Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to manage complex situations effectively.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a passion for learning and innovation.
