As a Software Engineer III - UI Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the team, you'll serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will be responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job Responsibilities :
- Work on managing tasks globally and across functional teams.
- Collaborate with team and manage project and deadlines efficiently.
- Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders and team members.
- Participate in designing, architecting, development and defining and driving the technology roadmap
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on web technologies: Node js / React js / Javascript (ES6+) / HTML5 / CSS3 and Typescript.
- Expertise with UI state management Redux / MobX / React Context / Apollo Client.
- Experience with strong understanding of REST and Graphql.
- Experience working with atomic design systems.
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks such as react-testing-library and Jest.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker and agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing web socket based communications, ensuring scalability and efficiency in high-volume environments.
- Adherence to code quality principals and consistent experience with unit, functional, and integration code testing
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket etc.
- Understanding of Agile SDLC methodology, including business analysis, development, maintenance, and improvement.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Working experience with Next js.
- Understanding of Nx Monorepo design and implementations
- Knowledge of advanced grid solutions like AG-Grid.
- Experience with modern testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.
- Understanding of DevOps principles including CI/CD.
